- W2017147855 abstract "Summary Aminopeptidase activity of mature endosperm and scutellar tissue of maize was characterized with regard to thermal stability. Half-lives of 10–15 min were observed for most preparations upon incubation at 50 °C. Aminopeptidases isolated from scutellar tissue of one line, W64A (and W64Ao2), proved to be an exception. Activity was stable for over 120 min at elevated temperature. Zymograms and evaluation of substrate specificity using various amino acid-β-naphthylamides failed to show differences between scutellar extracts of this genotype and several others." @default.
