Applications of these techniques to studies of reaction mechanisms are illustrated by reference to a number of examples: microwave absorption spectra applied to the thermal decomposition of ethylene episulphoxide, gas-phase EPR spectra to the reactions of SO and O with NO2, as well as to the reaction of O + OCS → SO + CO. Finally it is shown that microwave spectroscopy provides us with excellent information on the mechanism of hydrogen exchange reactions between propylene and deuterium on various catalysts." @default.
