- W2017367167 abstract "Abstract DNA-dependent RNA polymerases (nucleosidetriphosphate: RNA nucleotidyltransferase, EC 2.7.7.6) from cauliflower ( Brassica oleracea , var. botrytis) have multiple forms. The α-amanitin-insensitive form, Enzyme I, has rapid purine polyribonucleotide synthetic activity in the presence of one substrate and requires Mn 2+ and a template. The α-amanitin-sensitive form, Enzyme II, has no such property. Not only DNA but also homopolyribonucleotide are available templates for this reaction. Pyrimidine polyribonucleotides, poly(C) and poly(U), are not synthesized by the purified enzyme. Metal and salt requirements for homopolymer formation activity differ from those of DNA-dependent RNA polymerase activity." @default.
