Trimethylchlorsilan und Trimethylchlorstannan reagieren analog, wobei Trimethylgermanium-trimethylsilyl-selenid und Trimethylgermanium-trimethylzinn-selenid entstehen, wobei die letztere Verbindung schon unter milden Bedingungen in die symmetrischen Verbindungen Bis(trimethylgermanium)selenid und Bis(trimehylzinn)selenid disproportioniert. Einige chemische und physikalische Eigenschaften der neuen Verbindungen einschlieβlich der IR- und 1H-NMR-Spektren wurden untersucht. Lithium trimethylgermanium selenide is formed by the reaction of polymeric dimethylgermanium selenide with methyllithium in quantitative yields. Above 65° it is decomposed thermally into lithium selenide and bis(trimethylgermanium)selenide. The latter compound may also be synthesized by the reaction of trimethylchlorogermane with lithium trimethylgermanium selenide. Trimethylchlorosilane and trimethylchlorostannane react in a similar way, forming trimethylgermanium trimethylsilyl selenide and trimethylgermanium trimethyltin selenide respectively, which disproportionates even under mild conditions into the symmetrical compounds bis(trimethylgermanium) selenide and bis(trimethyltin) selenide. Some chemical and physical properties including IR and 1H-NMR spectra of the new compounds have been studied." @default.
