Daher ergibt sich, verglichen mit der Sinterung von Si3N4-Pulverkörpern, eine größere Anzahl von Einflußparametern. In dieser Arbeit wird der Einfluß der Si-Pulvercharakteristika (speziell der Korngrößenverteilung) der Art und Menge der Additive sowie der Prozeßparameter Sinterdauer und Sintertemperatur auf das Verdichtungsverhalten und auf die resultierenden Eigenschaften des nachgesinterten reaktionsgesinterten Si3N4 (SRBSN), wie Dichte und Biegefestigkeit, diskutiert. Insbesondere bei Materialien mit geringer Additivkonzentration konnte eine deutliche Korrelation zwischen Pulvercharakteristika und den Eigenschaften des SRBSN gefunden werden. Post-sintering of Reaction-Bonded Silicon Nitride under Increased Nitrogen Pressure Post-sintering of reaction-bonded silicon nitride (RBSN) under high nitrogen pressure is a promising technique for the production of dense Si3N4-materials. This processing technique involves two thermal-treatment steps, nitridation and sintering. Therefore, this technique results in a higher number of parameters, compared with the sintering of Si3N4-powder compacts. In this paper the influence of Si-powder characteristics (especially the particle size distribution) the type and amount of additives as well as the processing parameters sintering time and temperature on the densification behaviour and on the resulting properties of the post-sintered reaction-bonded Si3N4 (SRBSN), such as density and flexural strength, is discussed. Especially, for materials with low additive content a distinct correlation between the characteristics of the Si-starting powder and the properties of SRBSN could be found." @default.
