On détermine les retards dans la transmission du signal dans les divers circuits du modèle et on les compare aux retards physiologiques connus. Les résultats suggèrent l'existence d'un centre moteur qui controˆle la vergence accommodative et qui est tout-à-fait indépendant du système d'accommodation. Aus diesen Ergebnissen wurde eine Blockdiagrammdarstellung für die Akkommodation, für die Akkommodationsvergenz und für die Pupillensysteme hergeleitet, die die geringste Anzahl Blocks hat. Die Verzögerungen der Signalübertragung in den verschiedenen Bahnen des Modells wurden bestimmt und zu den bekannten physiologischen Verzögerungen in Beziehung gesetzt. Die Ergebnisse legen die Existenz eines Zentrums für motorische Kontrolle der akkommodativen Vergenz nahe, das vom Akkommodations-system völlig unabhängig ist.
