- W2017699397 abstract "A 45-year-old male patient with idiopathic ventricular tachycardia was referred for electrophysiological study and therapy. His heart was structurally normal with normal coronary arteries on angiography. Electrophysiological study demonstrated inducible ventricular tachycardia originating in the infero-septal region portion of the left ventricle (Fig. 1A). This was successfully treated by high frequency catheter ablation with cooled ablation catheter. After pace mapping, 16 burns were performed, each lasting up to 90 s (40 W). Cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) was performed 2 months after catheter ablation. Function and wall motion were normal (Fig. 1B), but there was focal delayed gadolinium, enhancement (arrow) at the location of former catheter ablation (Fig. 1C and D) suggesting fibrosis from the myocardial burn." @default.
