- W2018112457 abstract "Summary form only given. An open-cycle magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) generator system with a heat input of 5 MWt was built for the purpose of high-efficiency demonstration experiments. It was decided to use electrodes and insulators for the generator channel that had high power generation and durability. Micro-arc electrode experiments were aimed at final structural improvement in order to make a generator channel with high electrical performance and long life.
