- W2018186664 abstract "Wire antennas have found wide application as sensors for the prediction of electromagnetic interference (EMI). The accuracy in the field calculation depends on the Antenna Factor of the sensor. The Antenna Factor depends on the wave impedance of the test environments (e.g. free space, Gigahertz Transverse Electromagnetic (GTEM) Cell). Though the commonly available free space Antenna Factor data are used for the computation of the electric field in different test sites, for accurate evaluation, it is required to evaluate the Antenna Factor of the antenna in that medium. To avoid time consuming and expensive measurement techniques, here, a Method of Moment-based theoretical technique has been used to evaluate the Antenna Factor of wire antenna in a medium with wave impedance different from that of the free space. An excellent agreement in the theoretical findings with the experiment performed in a GTEM Cell of characteristic impedance 50Ωestablishes the theory." @default.
