- W2018899865 abstract "The promotion of interprofessional education at a pre-qualifying level presents higher education institutes with complex cultural, organizational and education challenges. Research into students' experiences of these new learning environments is needed to ensure successful implementation. This study explores health- and social-care students' views of their second interprofessional module. Qualitative comments were collected from 67 Level 2 students and subjected to content analysis, and compared with the views of the same cohort after their first interprofessional module. The findings reveal both positive and negative experiences, relating to the quality of facilitation and group dynamics. Students were more comfortable with the enquiry-based learning approach than at level 1, but many were unable to relate the module to clinical practice and expressions of professional rivalry emerged." @default.
