He has developed methods that give accurate and repeatable results from the untouched human eye and from the animal eye into which tracer substances have been injected. These methods have already given valuable results on the complex relationship between inflammatory processes and microvascular flow. The author could also show that water loading slows rather than accelerates the flow of aqueous humor.
