- W2019047216 abstract "A survey of the experimental information on the stability constants and the enthalpy changes for the species of the cuprous and cupric chloride complexes, as well as the equilibrium constant of the disproportionation of cuprous ion to cupric ion and crystalline copper were performed. Based on the available experimental information and the specific interaction theory (SIT) for the activity coefficients, the equilibrium constant of the cuprous ion disproportionation reaction and the stability constants of some complexes, and the enthalpy changes for the corresponding reaction formed in the Cu(I,II) −Cl− −e system at infinite dilution at 298.15 K, were evaluated. The corresponding interaction coefficients were obtained. The standard thermodynamic properties of the components and species of the system have also been calculated. The uncertainties of the evaluated data are large (particularly cupric chloride complexes) because of the inconsistency and scarcity of experimental information, and further experimental information is needed." @default.
