- W2019645612 abstract "The phase diagram of the binary system CoSm was studied in the composition range 0–26 at/% Sm by differential thermal analysis, and the observed solid phases Sm2Co17, SmCo5, Sm5Co18, Sm2Co7 and SmCo5 were characterized by X-ray diffraction and electron microprobe analysis. The congruent melting point of Sm2Co17 is confirmed, and up to 1325°C the observed structural form is only the rhombohedral one. SmCo5 is formed by peritectic reaction, it is not stoichiometric and the range of solid solution is determined. The metastable uncongruent melting point of Sm2Co7 and the stable peritectic decomposition of Sm2Co17 were determined by DTA. Microprobe analysis shows that the observed phases are slightly richer in samarium than indicated by their formulas." @default.
