- W2020654360 abstract "A lattice Boltzmann model is developed for the one- and two-dimensional Burgers–Fisher equation based on the method of the higher-order moment of equilibrium distribution functions and a series of partial differential equations in different time scales. In order to obtain the two-dimensional Burgers–Fisher equation, vector σj has been used. And in order to overcome the drawbacks of “error rebound,” a new assumption of additional distribution is presented, where two additional terms, in first order and second order separately, are used. Comparisons with the results obtained by other methods reveal that the numerical solutions obtained by the proposed method converge to exact solutions. The model under new assumption gives better results than that with second order assumption." @default.
