- W2020655733 abstract "The production of gelatinase by psychrophilic Vibrio sp. and its subsequent activity were shown to be maximal at 24°C (the highest growth temperature for the organism) and pH 8.8. Hydrostatic pressure caused a decrease in cells' gelatinase production and activity.Gelatinase, partially purified by ammonium sulfate fractionation and column chromatography, demonstrated optimal activity at 40°C and pH 9.3. In the absence of NaCl, no activity was observed while optimal activity occurred at 4.0% NaCl concentration. A greater decrease in activity was caused by hydrostatic pressure at 25°C than at 40°C." @default.
