The structural modifications studied by X-ray diffraction and channeling and the changes of the transport properties are strongly dependent on the initial material quality. Displaced oxygen atoms appear as the main defect structure connected to T c depressions and resistivity increases. Structural changes are represented by an increase of the a - and c -axis lattice parameters leading to an orthorhombic to tetragonal phase transition and finally to amorphization." @default.
