- W2021124311 abstract "Abstract The exposure of S. littoralis adults to virus—treated plant foliage, resulted in disease transmission to their offspring larvae produced on the plant. Females, after leaving the treated plant were still able to transmit low rates of the disease to their progeny on untreated plants. The adult exposure to virus—sugar feeding solution also resulted in disease transmission to larvae. In conclusion, flying S. littoralis females may contribute in the dispersal of the disease among field populations of the insect. @default.
