Die Ergebnisse demonstrieren die Durchführbarkeit geplanter plasmadiagnostischer Messungen von Dichte, Temperatur und Driftgeschwindigkeit für Protonen sowie Verunreinigungsionen. Plasma Diagnostics by Means of Li Beam-Activated Charge Exchange Spectroscopy Within a magnetically confined plasma, protons and/or impurity ions can be detected by injecting a beam of Li atoms and observing characteristic line emission from excited states formed due to inelastic ion-Li atom collisions (Li-activated charge exchange spectroscopy). Cross sections and rate coefficients of the fundamental atomic processes are presented and applied for simulation of Li beam attenuation and emission characteristics for LiI 670.8 nm as well as Hα 656.3 nm radiation across the plasma boundary region. The results demonstrate the feasibility of Li beam-activated charge exchange spectroscopy for protons and plasma impurities." @default.
