- W2022194577 abstract "Coordination control has a substantial potential to enhance the power system stability and has drawn considerable attention for years in the literature. In this paper, the coordination of the excitation and SVCs is studied. The pseudo-generalized Hamiltonian system is introduced, which has a more general form and a wider range of application. Based on this, a bona fide Lyapunov function is constructed under some assumptions. The strictly dissipative pseudo-generalized Hamiltonian realization of the multi-machine power system with SVCs is explicitly illustrated. Then the coordinated control strategy of excitation and SVCs is designed via an energy-based uniform framework. The coordinated control laws obtained have an explicit physical meaning and are readily available for practical use. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness and the practicability of the proposed methodology." @default.
