- W2022354807 abstract "We proposed an effective-mean-field (EMF) theory for the effective electrical conductivity of multiphase composite materials with arbitrarily oriented inclusions. The validity of the proposed EMF theory was examined by comparing it with Hashin–Shtrikman–Walpole bounds. For multiphase composite materials, the effective conductivity based on the EMF theory satisfies the Hashin–Shtrikman–Walpole upper and lower bounds. The validity of the proposed EMF theory was also examined in terms of the satisfaction of a well-known power law relation. For anisotropic porous materials with misoriented pores and isotropic porous materials with randomly oriented pores, the effective conductivity by the EMF theory obeys the well-known power law relation. These results confirm the validity of the proposed EMF theory." @default.
