The estimated sensitivity of urinary L-FABP level for predicting dialysis requirement was 69.1% (95% CI, 34.6%-90.5%), and specificity was 42.7% (95% CI, 3.1%-94.5%); for in-hospital mortality, sensitivity and specificity were 93.2% (95% CI, 66.2%-99.0%) and 78.8% (95% CI, 27.0%-97.4%), respectively.
