The cyclase activity was found in the particulate fraction; it was linear with time up to 10 min and with protein concentration up to 80 μg/assay. 3. 3. The activity was extremely sensitive to the presence of 25 mM sodium fluoride and required either Mg 2+ or, preferentially, Mn 2+ . 4. 4. Ca 2+ and Co 2+ inhibited the fluoride stimulated activity. 5. 5. Among various catecholamines and biogenic amines, only norepinephrine was found to be significantly effective in this system." @default.
