- W202322488 abstract "This research has the background which has indication the low result of studying in social studies learning on 4thgrade students Elementtary School 7 Bulungcangkring Kudus.This problem signed with some problems such as: convensional studying, center of teaching learning which focus on teacher, no application of contextual studying, and the low score of study in social studies learning. The model study contectual teaching and learning hopefully can support for increasing the result of study in social studies learning.The purpose of this research is to describe the skills of teachers, to describe the students activity and found an increase in material cooperation learning in social studies learning outcomes in grade 4th with the implementation model of contextual teaching and learning in Elementtary School 7 Bulungcangkring Jekulo Kudus.Student learning outcomes are the results obtained after the student through the learning activities. The learning model contextual teaching and learning is a learning model that emphasizes student engagement process in full to be able to find the material studied and relate it to real life situations that encourage students to be able to apply it in their lives. The hypothesis this research is to apply the learning model contextual teaching and learning materials cooperation, then the skills of teachers, student activities and student learning outcomes of Social Studies 4th grade Elementtary School 7 Bulungcangkring year 2013/2014 increased.This research is designed in the form of classroom action research was conducted in two cycles by applying the model of contextual teaching and learning. Procedure using a design study model of action research with steps: (1) planning, (2) the implementation of the action, (3) observation and (4) reflection. Used data collection techniques such as interviews, observation, testing, field notes and documentation.The results of research on social studies teaching model through contextual teaching and learning showed an increase in student learning outcomes significantly. Initial conditions mastery of student learning outcomes shows the percentage of 31.09%, the first cycle increased to 68.91%, and the second cycle increased to 85.71%. Improved learning outcomes is also supported by an increase in the activity of student learning and teacher learning management. Learning activities of students has increased from an average percentage of 71.85% first cycle to 78.06% in the second cycle. While the skills of teachers in teaching has increased from an average percentage of 68.75% first cycle became 85.15% in the second cycle.The conclusions in this research that the application of learning models contextual teaching and learning can improve the skills of teachers, student activities, and student learning outcomes in social studies learning materials cooperation 4th grade Elementtary School 7 bulungcangkring year 2013/2014. Advice given that students should conduct discussions in earnest. Teachers should apply the learning model contextual teaching and learning in social studies learning. School principals should facilitate teachers in developing learning models. Parents should pay attention to the development of student learning outcomes." @default.
