- W2023421812 abstract "The microencapsulation of vitamin A was prepared by spray drying in which HI-CAP 100 was the wall material. The outer morphology of microcapsules was studied by scanning electron microscopy. The influence of relative humidity (RH) levels on the retention of the vitamin A was evaluated during storage. The retention showed significant difference with increasing RH levels (33, 60 and 86%) (P < 0.05). X-ray diffraction revealed that the increasing RH levels led to the damage of the ordered structure of the wall material. The thermogravimetric analysis curves showed that the weight losses of every stage were observed to increase except for the second and third stages of 86% RH. There were significant differences in corresponding stages (P < 0.05), with the exception of the third and fourth stages between 60 and 86%. Obvious changes were found in the differential thermal analysis curves of both the exothermic and the endothermic peaks with increasing RH levels." @default.
