- W2023487684 abstract "Abstract Although of very small cross-section, the fast neutron capture reaction for the lightest nuclei (protons and deuterons) appears to be a very powerful method to investigate details of the interactions and states involved. It is shown that, with available techniques, measurement of energy spectra of resulting nuclei can yield c.m. differential cross sections if mono-energetic neutrons are used. Neutron beams of broad energy spectrum can be applied to measure total cross sections in a wide range simultaneously. Effects of nucleon polarization could be investigated with beams of mono-energetic polarized neutrons." @default.
