- W2023543741 abstract "We present new formulas for the numerical calculation of QCD production of two pairs of heavy quarks in hadron collisions, in leading order. We give results for $boverline{b}boverline{b}$, $boverline{b}coverline{c}$, and $coverline{c}coverline{c}$ production at the Fermilab Tevatron; the cross sections exceed 100 pb with all heavy quarks having ${p}_{T}>10$ GeV. We also present results for $toverline{t}toverline{t}$ production in $mathrm{pp}$ collisions for supercollider energies and briefly discuss the physics consequences for multi-$W$ production via standard $tensuremath{rightarrow}mathrm{bW}$ decays. For ${m}_{t}=110ensuremath{-}140$ GeV we predict of order 10-30 four-$W$ events per year at the Superconducting Super Collider from this source, with all four weak bosons decaying to $e{ensuremath{nu}}_{e}$ or $ensuremath{mu}{ensuremath{nu}}_{ensuremath{mu}}$. Similar results are obtained for the CERN Large Hadron Collider, assuming ten times higher luminosity." @default.
