The random repetition of the 12 words in the vocabulary produced a list of 129 items which were read out to the patients. Each reading simultaneously tested several features in the vocabulary. The statistical analysis of the results covered the recognition of the words, consonants and basic features; several recognition percentage associations were also considered. The results are given for 10 sessions held with two patients fitted with Chorimac cochlear prostheses. They show that: (1) the different tests are not equivalent (even for the associations of percentages). (2) some important features of the Chorimac prosthesis were met such as a good discrimination of the plosive-fricative opposition and a bad distinction of voicing, and (3) in this work, there is no evidence of help being derived from lip reading; this leads to a discussion of the sensitivity of the evaluation method. Die Autoren haben eine Methode zum objektiven Studium der Hörleistung von Patienten mit cochlearem Implantat entwickelt. Die Methode verwendet eine Reihe von 12 Kunstworten. Eine Zufallsverteilung der 12 Worte ergibt eine Liste mit 129 Eingängen welche dem Patienten laut vorgelsen werden. Jede Wortwiederholung testet mehrere phonetische Merkmale gleichzeitig. Die statistische Analyse begreift die Erkennung von Worten, Konsonanten und Einzelmerkmalen, sowie die prozentuale Erkennung der Assoziation mehrerer solcher Elemente. Die Resultate von zwei Patienten, implantiert mit Chorimac Prothesen, werden dargestellt. Sie zeigen dass: (1) es wichtig ist die Erkennungskriterien, welche während dem Test angewendet werden, zu definieren, (2) mehrere bekannte Eigenschaften der Chorimac Prothese hervortreten. Dazu gehören die gute Unterscheidung zwischen Plosiven und Frikativen und eine schlechte Unterscheidung der stimmhaften Laute, und (3) die Prothese keine Hilfe zum Lippenlesen darstellt; dies führt zu einer Diskussion über die Sachdienlichkeit der Testmethode. A l'aide d'un vocabulaire de 12 mots artificiels, les auteurs ont développé une méthode pour évaluer les performances auditives de patients équipés avec un implant cochléaire. La répétition aléatoire de ces 12 mots a conduit à une liste de 129 éléments qui a été lue aux patients et qui teste simultanément plusieurs caractérs du langage. L'exploitation statistique des résultats a concerné la reconnaissance des mots, des consonnes, des éléments de base du vocabulaire. L'association de ces pourcentages est aussi eétudiée. Les résultats sont présentés pour deux patients porteurs d'une prothèse Chorimac. Ils montrent que: (1) les différents tests ne sont pas équivalents (même les associations de pourcentages), (2) quelques propriétés principales de la prothèse Chrorimac sont retrouvées, telles que la bonne discrimination de l'opposition plosive-fricative et la mauvaise distinction du voisement, et (3) l'aide à la lecture labiale n'est pas mise en évidence; ceci incite à discuter la sensibilité de la méthode proposée." @default.
