- W2023734560 abstract "The group solution model of Ratcliff and Chao for the excess free energies of liquid mixtures has been put in analytical form using the Wilson equation. This procedure obviates some of the limitations and inaccuracies of the previous model, and is well suited to computer calculation. It was tested and found satisfactory for a wide range of mixtures containing the groups methylene and hydroxylGroup Wilson parameters were generated from experimental data for methylene/hydroxyl mixtures at 25°C to 95°C, and are given byAt temperatures within or close to this range, these parameters allow the prediction of excess free energies of binary or multicomponent mixtures containing these two groups. No experimental data are required. Good results are obtained for aqueous systems.En utilisant l'equation de Wilson, on a represente sous forme analytique le modele de solutions pour groupes de Ratcliff et Chao, en vue de determiner les energies libres en exces de melanges liquides. Cette methode elimine certaines des restrictions et imprecisions du modele precedent et convient bien au calcul mecanographique. On a fait l'essai de la dite methode et l'a trouvee satisfaisante pour une grande variete de melanges contenant les groupes methylene et hydroxyleOn a produit les parametres de Wilson pour groupes a partir de donnees experimentales pour des melanges contenant les groupes methylene et hydroxyle a 25-95°C; ces parametres sont obtenus comme suit:A des temperatures comprises dans la dite echelle ou veisines de celle-ci, les parametres permettent de predire les energies libres en exces de melanges binaires ou a composants multiples contenant les deux groupes en question. On n'a pas besoin de resultats experimentaux. On obtient de bons resultats pour les systemes aqueux." @default.
