Similar views have been expressed by Tintera and Lovell. 2 As Bowman 3 indicated recently, there have been no further contributions in the literature tending to confirm or disprove this interesting theory. 3a Accordingly, it seemed desirable at this point to report the preliminary results of an investigation in this area which we have conducted during the past year or more.
