- W2024367093 abstract "Abstract Kinematic investigations of spatial lever mechanisms are mainly done by graphical methods, because the formulae obtained by analytical methods are so cumbersome as to be impractical. But for three-link spatial mechanisms the formulae are simpler. In this paper the relation between kinematic parameters of three-link mechanisms of zero family is established for those examples that are most frequently encountered in practice. Formulae are obtained expressing the functional relationships for translations, velocities and accelerations for relative velocities and accelerations as well as for the angular velocities and acceleration of the driven link, all as functions of the angle turned by the driving link. From these calculations, selected tables are drawn up, corresponding kinematic diagrams plotted and photographs of actual manufactured models shown. All this gives a clear notion of the movements of the individual links of mechanisms that have been chosen." @default.
