Pentacarbonyl(formamidinocarbene) intermediates 3 can be isolated at temperatures < − 10°C. The molybdenum complex 4f reveals a planar five-membered chelate ring containing a short metal-carbene bond. As indicated by their 13C-NMR spectra the amidinocarbene chelates 4 undergo rapid CO exchange even at low temperatures. Also, they undergo cycloaddition reactions with 3-hexyne to give 2,3-dihydropyrrolones 6,7 after oxidative workup. Alkoxycarben- und Acetoxycarben-Komplexe des Chroms und Molybdäns 1a–c reagieren mit den Formamidinen 2a–e zu den Tetracarbonyl(formamidinocarben)-Chelatkomplexen 4a–j. Bei Temperaturen < − 1O°C können Pentacarbonyl(formamidinocarben)-Zwischenstufen 3 isoliert werden. Der Molybdän-Komplex 4f weist einen planaren fünfgliedrigen Chelatring mit einer kurzen Metall-Carben-Bindung auf. Die Amidinocarben-Chelatkomplexe 4 zeigen anhand ihrer 13C-NMR-Spektren auch bei tiefen Temperaturen einen raschen CO-Austausch. Sie gehen mit 3-Hexin Cycloadditionen ein, wobei nach oxidativer Aufarbeitung 2,3-Dihydropyrrolone 6,7 erhalten werden." @default.
