- W2024495968 abstract "CuZnAl shape memory alloys are grown as single crystals by the Bridgman technique with a final shape directly suitable for thermomechanical tests (cylinders with tapered heads: 25 mm gauge length, 4 mm in diameter). The four classical transformation temperatures are checked by Differential Scanning Calorimetry and resistivity. The orientation of crystal structure is investigated by X-ray diffraction. Isothermal pseudoelastic tensile tests show that the width of the hysteresis loops and the slope of the stress-strain curves during phase transformation increase as the applied stress rate increases. A micromechanical-based constitutive model allows us to describe this single crystal behaviour. Des monocristaux de CuZnAl sont élaborés par la technique de Bridgman avec une forme géométrique directement utilisable pour les essais thermomécaniques (cylindre à tête conique 25 mm de longueur utile et 4 mm de diamètre). Les quatre températures classiques de transformation sont obtenues par calorimétre différentielle à balayage et résistivité. L'orientation de la structure cristalline est obtenue au moyen de la diffraction par RX. Des essais de traction isotherme dans le domaine pseudoélastique montre que la taille de la boucle d'hystérésis et la pente de la courbe contrainte-déformation au cours de la transition de phase s'accroissent quand la vitesse de la contrainte appliquée croit. Un modèle constitutif basé sur la micromécanique permet de décrire le comportement du monocristal." @default.
