• W2024678328 abstract "본 논문에서는 트위터 사용자들의 리트윗 행위의 기반이 되는 이유와 동기에 대한 탐색적인 연구방법을 제안한다. 본 논문은 리트윗 행위가 메시지가 가진 속성, 트위터 사용자의 이유와 내면적 가치가 반영되어 나타나는 현상이라고 주장하고, 다음의 연구방법을 이용하였다. 우선 리트윗 동기에 관한 선행연구가 제시한 34개 항목을 이용하여 리트윗행위와 연관된 메시지 속성, 이유, 가치를 묻는 설문문항을 만든 후, 트위터 이용자들(N=171)에게 자신이 리트윗한 다섯 개의 메시지들에 대해 답하도록 하였다 (5개 메시지 <TEX>${times}$</TEX> 34 문항 = 170). 이를 바탕으로 34개의 동기와 이유, 가치들이 어떻게 군집화 되는가를 요인분석을 통해서 살펴보았다. 분석결과, 리트윗을 하는 대표적 요인으로 (1) 공공적 성격, (2) 재미와 즐거움, (3) 공동체적 도움, (4) 소식과 정보 등이 나타났다. 요인 2와 4는 전통적 저널리즘적 성격을, 1과 3은 대체적 (대안) 저널리즘 성격을 띈 동기로 파악하였다. 요인 1과 3이 기존의 저널리즘을 보강하는 역할을 하기도 하지만, 온라인에서의 의견 양극화와 이어질 수도 있다는 것을 논의하였다. 이 외에도 (1) 내재적 가치와 공동체적 (2) 동질감, (3) 소속감 등이 리트윗 행위의 기반이 되는 이유와 가치라고 파악하였다. The study aims at exploring motivation, rationale, and values in twitter users' retweet behavior. It proposes that diffusion of message is based on the complex interactional relationships among attributes of original message, user's rationale, and values. Based on a pilot study, we constructed a total of 34 questions asking message attributes, motivation, and values of retweeting. Then, twitter users participated in an online survey, in which they evaluate their own 5 retweet messages based on the constructed questions(5 messages <TEX>${times}$</TEX> 34 questions = 170). Then, a factor analysis is done in order to see the dimensions of the concepts in retweet behavior; and understand how message attributes, motivations, and values are inter-related with each other. The main factors extracted were: (1) public fairness, (2) fun and playfulness, (3) communal help, (4) news and information, etc. Factor 2 and 4 show the traditional journalism characteristics; while factor 1 and 3 do alternative journalistic values. The latter may work as a rectifying factors for traditional journalism; however, backfiring mechanism for group polarization. In addition, (1) users' internal identities, (2) communal unity and (3) belongness were identified as rationales and values for retweet behavior." @default.
