- W2024791715 abstract "This paper studies the problem of output feedback fault-tolerant control design for continuous-time linear time-invariant systems. The considered control scheme is in the framework of sampled data control with high-order hold (HOH) instead of conventional zero-order hold (ZOH). It is shown that the equivalent control distribution matrix B <inf xmlns:mml=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML xmlns:xlink=http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink>2</inf> in the discretized model with HOH will be 'enlarged', which brings more flexibility for designing a output feedback fault tolerant controller. The design conditions are given in terms of solvability of a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Furthermore, the results are extended to H <inf xmlns:mml=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML xmlns:xlink=http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink>2</inf> output feedback fault tolerant control designs in which the intersampling effects can be taken into consideration. A numerical example of a chemical reactor model and its simulation results are given to illustrate the effectiveness the proposed approach." @default.
