- W2024954711 abstract "A survey of 40 organizations has been used to identify the problems considered more important and more frequently encountered by top executives using computers for decision support. MIS managers in these organizations were asked to enumerate the tools, methods, roles and activities (items) which the company has implemented to address each of the problems. The results indicate that some of the problems are related to the level of executive computer literacy and that problem frequency in many cases is inversely related to the number and effectiveness of items addressing the problem. Based on the results, several implications and conclusions are drawn which may lead to the improvement of service and management of computerized decision support for top managers." @default.
