- W2026656520 abstract "We investigate the influence of interactions between the ${mathrm{CuO}}_{2}$ plane and magnetic out-of-plane ions in the extended $tensuremath{-}J$ model for ${mathrm{Nd}}_{2ensuremath{-}x}{mathrm{Ce}}_{x}{mathrm{CuO}}_{4}.$ Using the linear spin-wave theory and treating the hole-magnon interactions within the self-consistent Born approximation it is demonstrated that a second band with low dispersion builds up in a large part of the Brillouin zone in the proximity of the low-energy quasiparticle band, found in the $tensuremath{-}J$ model due to quantum fluctuations of the spin system. The flat region observed near the $(ensuremath{pi},0)$ point in the high temperature superconductors is reproduced." @default.
