The antibonding metal $({d}_{{z}^{2}}ensuremath{-}5ensuremath{sigma})$ orbital resulting from the interaction of the CO 5ensuremath{sigma} with the metal ${d}_{{z}^{2}}$ orbitals is directly observed for ${mathrm{Ni}}_{1}(mathrm{CO}{)}_{3}^{phantom{rule{0ex}{0ex}}ensuremath{-}}$." @default.
