- W2027650072 abstract "The Sn 2+ substitution into the Ba site in BaTiO 3 -based perovskites was experimentally and theoretically investigated. We clarified two factors promoting the Sn 2+ substitution: the sintering partial pressure of oxygen ( p O 2 ) and the lattice size of BaTiO 3 . We found the optimum region of sintering p O 2 , where a high tetragonality and a high temperature of transition from the ferroelectric phase to the paraelectric phase are realized. It was also found that decreasing lattice size by Ca doping is effective for substituting Sn 2+ into the Ba site in BaTiO 3 . These results provide insights for exploring new ceramics containing Sn 2+ that possess better ferroelectric properties." @default.
