• W2029143567 abstract "Detailed measurements of the magnetization of as-quenched FexPd82−xSi18 metallic glasses are reported for 2 ≦ x ≦ 25 at%. Fe. The measurements are made as a function of temperature (4.2 to 320 K) and magnetic field (0.1 to 9.5 kOe). Ac susceptibility measurements are performed on Fe2Pd80Si18 and Fe5Pd77Si18. The study reveals a gradual transition from spin glass-like (2≦x≦5) to weak ferromagnetic order (x ⪆ 20) at low temperature. The transition extends over a wide range of compositions (7 ⪅ x ⪅ 20). In this intermediate range a weakly ferromagnetic phase sets in above the respective spin glass “freezing” temperature. Fe25Pd57Si18 is weakly ferromagnetic up to room temperature. The magnetic phase diagram of amorphous FexPd82−xSi18 is obtained. Ausführliche Messungen der Magnetisierung von abgeschrechrecktem FexPd82−xSi18-Metallglas werden für 2 ≦ x ≦ 25 At% Fe mitgeteilt. Die Messungen werden in Abhängigkeit von der Temperatur (4,2 bis 320 K) und vom Magnetfeld (0,1 bis 9,5 kOe) durchgeführt. Wechselstrom-Suszeptibilitätsmessungen werden an Fe2Pd80Si18 und Fe5Pd77Si18 ausgeführt. Die Untersuchung ergibt einen allmählichen Übergang von Spin-Glas-ähnlicher (2 ≦ x ≦ 5) zur schwachen ferromagnetischen Ordnung (x = 20) bei tiefer Temperatur. Der Übergang erstreckt sich über einen weiten Bereich der Zusammensetzung (7 ≦ x ≦ 20). In diesem Zwischenbereich setzt eine schwach ferromagnetische Phase oberhalb der betreffenden Spin-Glas-Ausfriertemperatur ein. Fe25Pd57Si18 ist schwach ferromagnetisch bis zu Zimmertemperatur. Von amorphem FexPd82−xSi18 wird das magnetische Phasendiagramm erhalten." @default.
