Among crustacean, fish, birds and mammals the highest and lowest % water content was found in Dumba (Ovis orientalis punjabiensis) and Aceel fowl (Gallus gallus). The highest and lowest % protein content was found in Salmon (Oncorhynchus sp) and Mahseer (Tor putitora). The highest and lowest % lipid content was found in Mahseer (Tor Putitora) and Salmon (Oncorhynchus sp). The highest and lowest % ash content was found in Tilapia (Oreochromic mossambica) and Pamphret (Pampus argenteus) respectively.
