- W2029491119 abstract "Abstract The photogalvanic effect in the photoredox couple composed of vanadium(III) bis(2,2′-bipyridyl) chloride and Fe(III) has been studied in aqueous solution in a photogalvanic cell of capacity 70 cm3 with two identical platinum electrodes. The cell performed best when the vanadium complex concentration was 1 × 10−4 M and the Fe(III) ion concentration was 1 × 10−3 M at pH 3.4. The dependence of cell photocurrent and photo-potential on incident light intensity was investigated and it was found that both photocurrent and photopotential are directly proportional to the incident light intensity. A reaction scheme for the photoredox process is proposed based upon the experimental results." @default.
