- W2033717734 abstract "As has been known for several years, Einstein's equations, in the limit of weak gravity and small velocities, can be written in a form similar to Maxwell's source equations, in which the possibility of existence of a gravitational conductivity is taken into consideration. This formalism suggests us to define a particular model of the gravitational system, i.e., an ideal gravito-magnetofluid. The fundamental system of equations describing the behavior of such a fluid is obtained by using the Lagrangian variational formalism. As an application of this picture, we have investigated the case of the gravito-electromagnetic field of a minimally coupled gravito-conducting fluid at rest, for both constant and variable densities. The first assumption leads us to the real gravitons, while the second yields a dispersion relation whose solutions might explain some cosmic phenomena (supernova processes, black-hole formation and evaporation, etc.)." @default.
