The objective of this study was to determine the perception of organizational climate among researchleading professors, from the Universidad Juárez Autónoma de Tabasco, affiliated to research units working on one or more areas of research. The study emerged as a response to a series of evaluations that professors undergo systematically to remain within the research units, but which negatively affect the organizational climate. The research had a quantitative, descriptive and correlational design in which a non-experimental or cross-sectional design was taken. The study was conducted using stratified sampling. A questionnaire was administered to examine the participants’ perception of organizational climate construct in their context of higher education. The analyses of the questionnaire data revealed that 24% of the population perceived a highly favorable organizational climate, whereas 27% did not. We conclude that, overall, the dimensions related to research interest, further academic development, and work pressure, show the lowest scores. Nonetheless, different perceptions of organizational climate were documents across the university faculties." @default.
