- W2034348637 abstract "The ionic conductivity of amides (N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF), N,N-dimethylacetamide (DMA), formamide (FA)), glycerol (Gly) and binary mixtures of amides with Gly (amides + Gly) over the entire composition range were investigated at 1 MHz radio frequency in the temperature range of 15–60 °C. The Arrhenius behaviour of ionic conductivity of the amides and amides + Gly mixtures of amide-rich concentration confirms the static-type (direct current) ionic conduction mechanism at 1 MHz. The Gly and amides + Gly mixtures of Gly-rich concentration have the static to alternating current transport of ions at 1 MHz, and show the non-Arrhenius behaviour of their ionic conductivity. The values of conductivity activation energy of these binary mixtures were evaluated and the same were compared with their viscosity activation energy. The dependence of ionic conductivity on the static permittivity, viscosity and also the behavior of hydrogen-bonded interactions between amides and Gly molecules were explored." @default.
