- W2034664549 abstract "In order to study the effect of the host d band in transition metal host MoCo alloys, the bulk susceptibility, the local susceptibility Knight shift and the nuclear relaxation rates T1-1 and T2-1 were precisely measured for 1.5-530K (300K for chi bulk) by means of the Faraday method and the Co impurity (CW and pulsed) NMR method. The observed Knight shifts are described by Kobs=K0+K(O)(1-(T/TKsq)2) for T or=50K, where K0=+1.60+or-0.20% is independent of temperature. K(0)=-8.78+or-0.05%, A=-8.13+or-0.03%, Tksq=27.0+or-0.4K and Tkcw=46.5+or-2.0K. Using the Knight shift versus bulk susceptibility plot, the single-impurity susceptibility chi (0)=(2.2+or-0.1)*10-2 EMU mol-1, the Van Vleck susceptibility chi VV=(3.4+or-1.0)*10-4 EMU mol-1, the d-spin hyperfine field Hhf2pin=-22.5+or-2.0 kOe mu B-1 and the d-orbital hyperfine field Hhforb=+260-80+140 kOe mu n-1 are obtained. The observed spin-lattice relaxation rates T1-1 obey a Korringa-like relation Kspin2T1,spinT=3.5 (h/4 pi kB) ( gamma c/ gamma n)2 when T<or=100K." @default.
