- W2034748138 abstract "The thallium salt complex of the ionophoric antibiotic lasalocid (X-537A) in chloroform solution was studied by 205Tl NMR. The chemical shift at a complex concentration of 0.10 M is 294.5 ppm, the lowest-field value of any Tl+-ionophore complex yet studied, and 160 ppm from that of the nigericin complex, the closest resonance of the remainder. The chemical shift range of 205TI+ in its ionophore complexes thus spans nearly 850 ppm. The concentration dependence of the 205Tl chemical shift and the temperature dependences of the 205TI chemical shift, linewidth, and T1 are reported. Proton NMR results indicate that, in chloroform, the Tl+-lasalocid complex exists primarily as a head-to-head dimer." @default.
