- W2034881660 abstract "Work-family conflict has long been suggested to have important effects on job satisfaction and turnover intention. The purpose of this study is to test the moderating roles of culture and gender between work-family conflict which is analyzed bi-directionally in terms of work interference with family and family interference with work and job satisfaction, turnover intention. Including the literature written in Chinese and English, this meta-analysis shows that the two directions of work-family conflict are all associated with job satisfaction and turnover intention and culture can only moderate the relationship between work interference with family and job satisfaction. When considering gender, this study finds that gender can moderate the relationship between work interference with family and job satisfaction in USA, but it can't be a moderator of relationship between work interference with family job satisfactions in China.
