OBTAINED FROM ORGANIC, CONVENTIONAL AND HIDROPONIC CULTURE SYSTEMS Eighteen samples of watercress obtained by the systems of organic, conventional and hidroponic cultivation were analyzed, in relation to the drifts of CS2. The method of KEPPEL (1971) internationally accepted, that includes the conversion of all the dithiocarbamates residues was used. All the analyzed samples presented positive reaction to CS2, independent of the cultivation system. Even so, indications of possible fake positive evidenced the need for confirmation tests for each molecule. While it is not established a multirresidual method for all the compounds of the class of the dithiocarbamates, or specific for each active ingredient, and the technique more utilized for the determination of the dithiocarbamates as CS2, a fake-positive result can happen in some groups of horticultural, owing to the analist/researcher to be attentive for that possibility." @default.
