Les résultats ont été comparés aux 15 premiers patients opérés durant la même période d’une cystectomie laparoscopique associée à une dérivation non continente de type Bricker pour un cancer de vessie. La charge en soins de base était supérieure chez les patients neurologiques par rapport aux patients oncologiques la veille de l’intervention et à compter du troisième jour postopératoire jusqu’au huitième jour postopératoire. La charge en soins relationnels était supérieure chez les patients neurologiques par rapport aux patients oncologiques les deuxième, troisième, sixième et septième jours postopératoires. Aucune différence n’a été notée en termes de soins techniques entre les deux groupes. En dehors du jour de l’intervention et du premier jour postopératoire, la charge en soins de base et relationnels est plus élevée chez les patients neurologiques que chez les patients oncologiques. To assess the nurses’ workload in care of the neurological patients operated in a department of urology and compare it to the nurses’ workload of oncological patients. Between 2006 and 2007, a prospective study was realized in 15 consecutive patients with neurogenic voiding dysfunction managed by laparoscopic cystectomy and ileal conduit urinary diversion. The nurses’ workload was assessed by the soins infirmiers individualisés à la personne soignée (SIIPS) indicator. Except the operative day and the first postoperative day, the nurses’ workload in relational and basic care is higher in the neurological patient's than in the oncological patients.
