Une grande spécificité de ce couplage, une fine régulation du trafic cellulaire, et une sélectivité d'attraction des différentes populations cellulaires caractérisent leur mise en jeu, avec une cinétique d'expression propre à chacune de ces molécules. La coopération entre endothélium vasculaire et infiltrat inflammatoire, à travers quatre modèles expérimentaux, de même que la coopération entre épithélium bronchique (ou nasal) et cellules inflammatoires, dans son approche clinique et expérimentale, sont ensuite ici exposées. Regardless of its site of expression, the allergic inflammatory reaction always presents constant features, resulting from an interaction between structural cells and circulating cells, mediated by classical mediators, cytokines but also adhesion molecules. There are three families of adhesion molecules: superfamily of immunoglobulins, selectins, and integrins, and they act in pairs, with, on the one hand, molecules present on the surface of circulating leukocytes and, on the other hand, molecules present on the endothelium and epithelium. The activation of these mediators is characterized by highly specific binding, fine regulation of cellular interactions, and selective attraction of the various cell populations, with a specific expression kinetic for each of these molecules. The cooperation between vascular endothelium and inflammatory infiltrate, illustrated by four experimental models, and the clinical and experimental aspects of the cooperation between bronchial (or nasal) epithelium and inflammatory cells are then discussed." @default.
